Students can stand out from other applicants competing for the same future job by completing two degrees—an undergraduate degree and a postgraduate degree. The accelerated track helps to makes this 2-degree pathway possible in roughly the same amount of time as most bachelor’s degree programs.

To complete the BALA in 2 years, students complete 5 units in each regular semester, 1 online unit in each winter semester, as well as 2 intensive units in a June-July Winter term during their first year.
If a student enrols in the accelerated track but, upon completing 1 or 2 semesters, desires to switch to the standard track, he/she may do so.
Accelerated track students may apply for the 5-week Oxford intensive program, which they would participate in during their second year of study.

In addition, applicants to the Bachelor of Arts in the Liberal Arts (accelerated track) are expected to receive a notional OP of 10 or Selection Rank of 79. They also need to provide a reference letter speaking to their ability to sustain a rigorous workload.
